Pet Pawtraiture
I love pets, of all shapes, sizes and species, and my aim is to always capture their true personality in real candid shots. For this reason, I will usually allow your pet to pick a location in which he/she feels comfortable instead of fabricating an artificial set to get staged shots. I also tend to use natural lighting because a flash may startle your pet, thus altering their behaviour, as you can't give them a warning like you can with humans!

My zoology background (from rescue centres to conservation organisations), and experience photographing and filming animals in the wild, helps me to predict your pet's behaviour, while also making sure they remain comfortable and relaxed throughout. This is the best way to get the result of natural, intimate portraits.

Initial Consultations
In order to make sure I provide you with memories that you cherish forever, I need to make sure that I know what you want out of this experience. That is why I do two initial consultations; one to find out a bit about you, about your pet and answer any questions that you may have, and the other on the day, to meet your pet and allow them to familiarise themselves with me.
The Photoshoot
​​In order to capture your pet's natural behaviour and personality, I believe it is important that they are in a familiar environment​, which is why I often opt for a local park, although your home or garden can also work​. The longer photoshoots allow the opportunity to get a higher variety of photos in multiple locations. Animals' moods and behaviours change much like humans, more time also allows for the possibility to catch these different sides of their personality. The listed shoot time is an estimate and if I think more shots are needed, then I will carry on for no extra fee.
Digital Copies
Within a week after the photoshoot (usually a few days), I will provide you with link to a digital album of professionally edited photos of your pet, so you can pick your favourite. We can then discuss which you would like as digital copies
and as professional prints
Professional Prints
Once you have decided on you favourite print(s), I can get them professionally printed on museum-quality fine art paper. We can discuss sizes, swap or amend any that are included in your package and add additional ones for an extra charge. You are also able to swap what was included in your package for print credit towards another product or size. All materials used are environmentally friendly.
