On the drive back to camp after a long filming day for a wildlife documentary in Amboseli National Park, Kenya, the last rays of sunlight were diffusing through the clouds when we came across this mother and calf going for an evening paddle. As we were losing the light so quickly, I had to act fast to get the shot before if was too dark.
I love this shot because it captures the special bond between a mother and calf elephant enjoying a peaceful moment in Kenya's Amboseli National Park. The vibrant colours of the pink sunset create a beautiful and tranquil atmosphere, perfect for adding a splash of colour and nature to any room. I recommend a border of at least 1cm just so you don't lose any of the picture in the mounting or framing process. I personally like to use a larger border (around 3cm) on the larger prints, especially if you don't intend on mounting them, this is more for aesthetic reasons.
A 12x16" print with a mount would require a 16x20" frame
