Elephants have a very strong family bond, and you can see this in how they interact with each other. Focussing on the calves during filming for a wildlife documentary, we could also see the different personalities, and how the interactions varied. But overall, it was evident that the herd strongly cared for one another.
I enjoy looking back at my photos of calf interactions, as I have always tried to capture their playful nature.
Family Bonding
I recommend a border of at least 1cm just so you don't lose any of the picture in the mounting or framing process. I personally like to use a larger border (around 3cm) on the larger prints, especially if you don't intend on mounting them, this is more for aesthetic reasons.
A 12x16" print with a mount would require a 16x20" frame
